The Best Time for a Tanzania's Safaris.
In general speaking, Tanzania Wildlife Safari is highly affected by annual seasons. As dry seasons from July to October is the perfect time for holidays, this time offers a great game drive dramatic views, easy and action-packed.
However, the Ngorongoro crater is not highly affected by seasons as animals are kept inside a natural zoo. So the game view is amazing all around the year.
The month of February is the quintessential time to be at southern Serengeti if you wish to witness the Great Migration.During this time wildebeests congregate in the southern plains for the Calving season.
Southern Tanzania is dramatically affected by season, during rain seasons most of the roads are not accessible. Generally, from March to May Nyerere National Park and Ruaha are always closed as the camps are inaccessible.
If you are not a fan of hot weather, don’t go to Nyerere Park from October to November as the park is boiling at this time.
A good point to note:Dry seasons are known for having high accommodation rates, as opposed to low seasons which are during rainy times.
